What about happy tour?

Journal Entry: Tue Jun 9, 2009, 11:15 PM
What about happy tour all around the world?
And what if the tour is connected to idea of peace and non-violence? :)

“How is the World March proposed? What will be done?
Starting on the 2nd of October, simultaneously in many cities all kinds of activities will start to take place: marches, festivals, forums, demonstrations, debates, cultural and artistic activities, etc. This same day, a small team of some 50 people, will start a sequential journey, a symbolic journey that, starting in Wellington, New Zealand, will end in Punta de Vacas, Argentina, after a journey through 6 continents including the Antarctic. To this sequential journey there have been added numerous new routes until the March has become a dense web.
What is the current situation of the WM today?
The World March is growing day by day with new contributions. It was started by the humanist association “World without Wars” with an initial journey through 40 countries and today there are over 90. These are the numbers: 300 cities, 700 initiatives, 800 personalities, 1800 organisations, 200 universities and educational centres, 150 mayors and councils, 4 Presidents“ (from Rafael de la Rubia speach in UN, 6.5.2009)

Maybe it is not possible for you to walk in real, but it IS possible for us all to participate in our virtual world, right here on deviantart! :)
I have a galery on this site (left up) for young artists, you can just join it and to create your art with theme of world, march, peace and non-violence. It‘s up to you how to take the idea.

The collection is offered to activists of WM so that they can present it on their activities (virtual ways, as projecting). Arts will not be used to comerce and there will be link to author and his/her gallery on deviantart. anyway I think the best way for them will be just to connect to this our deviant world :)

You should send me a message with id of your art before the march starts, its before october, although there is no deadline. And I will be pleased if you let others know about this peace gallery :) I dont know about all ways how to do it, Im new here, so its up to you :)

Informations about our group will be spread by WM activists as invitation for other young artists and for those who would just like to see our gallery and maybe to support “their” artist. Mentioning support – I promise to purchase 1month membership for one deviant per month :)

You can see here how we cover the map of the World March and how we spread even further!
